Our Original "Cake Shape Guides" are designed to help create beautiful cake shapes with Ease.
They are designed to help you create smooth sides and sharp edges when making your cakes. Whether you are using ganache or buttercream , these guides are your best friend when it comes to making cake shapes with ease.
Simply use one on either side to achieve your chosen shape. Make sure you cover them in cling wrap first so they can be removed after using. You can view lots of different videos of us using our guides on our instagram page
1. Tightly cover your guides in glad wrap before using, it makes the guides easy to remove when finished. Secure the glad wrap with sticky tape. The smoother the cling wrap the smoother your icing is when you remove the guides.
2. Make sure you set the two guides in alignment in the fridge before filling out the rest. This will stop them sliding out of alignment. And then once iced, pop the whole cake in the fridge to set before trying to remove the guides. This way the icing will be set and wont pull away with the glad wrap when the guides are removed.
They are made with 3mm frosted acrylic. Because we use frosted acrylic the glad wrap does not get stuck to the acrylic guide.
These guides are hand wash only in warm water, not dishwasher safe

Candy canes have been made using red and white fondant.
